Singapore Airlines to stop world's longest flight

Singapore Airlines will stop flying the world"s longest route next year as the company phases out the aircraft used to make the journey.

Conventional wisdom says the economy is weak because consumers, constrained by excessive debt, are cutting back. That is wrong on two counts. I have a chart for each.
